Tohu Puiaki - Doctoral Completion Scholarship

Te Taura Whiri I te Reo Māori and Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga partnership to build capacity and capability in Māori language research and support revitalisation.
To provide financial assistance and incentive to doctoral candidates who are not in receipt of any other significant income to complete their doctoral study and thesis submission.
Doctoral candidates who are currently enrolled and in the final year of a doctoral degree. Candidates must be completing their thesis in English on Māori Language Revitalisation, or, writing their thesis in Te Reo Māori on any subject.
Up to 12 months.
Up to NZD20,000, plus costs for thesis binding ($500). There are up to 5 Tohu Puiaki - Doctoral Completion Scholarships available.
Applications open on 20 December 2016 and close at 4.00pm on 28 February 2017.
Applications for the Tohu Puiaki - Doctoral Completion Scholarships must be submitted using the online application form below, and all information and documents must be uploaded by the closing date 28 February 2017.
