2016 NPM Doctoral Bridging Grants
Purpose: To provide assistance to doctoral candidates to both complete and submit their doctoral thesis, or to prepare and publish from their doctoral research.
This grant supports candidates who are not in receipt of any other significant income during this period of completion or publishing.
Eligibility: Māori researchers who are at one of Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga's Partner Institutions and who are currently registered and in the final year of a doctoral degree; or who have recently submitted a thesis for examination or recently completed the final requirements for a doctoral degree and wish to publish their work.
Tenure: up to 3 months maximum.
Value: up to $2000 per month.
Applications: Applications close on 26 April 2016 at 4pm.
Applicants should allow one month for the application selection process to take place after the advertised closing date. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application at the earliest opportunity.

- Proposed programme of work
- Two page (max) Curriculum Vitae with the names and contact details for two referees
- Cover letter including your research achievements and future plans
- Supervisor's support letter
