Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga is using the hash tag #Covid_19Indigenous_World as an attempt to collect news of the Indigenous World during the pandemic. There are very few accounts of how Indigenous peoples and communities around the world are responding and faring.
Of the media reports we do receive, much is concerning and often alarming. As an Indigenous people we recognise the strength, wellness and resistance that derives from our connectedness.
We invite you to use the hash tag above as a mode of connecting, and also to send us short situation updates, reflections or insights (300-500 words) which we will publish on our Ngā Pae Tautoko Covid web page for further dissemination by social media.
