The 2015 Horizons of Insight season began on Wednesday, March 25th, when Dr Robert Joseph from the University of Waikato gave a seminar on ""Te Pae Tawhiti: Exploring the Horizons of Māori Economic Performance"" which is looking at optimising the economic performance of Māori land trusts in the Waiariki region.

Robert and his team are identifying sustainable and scalable models of active land trust management, which are designed to enhance the economic performance of Māori land trusts and identify models of collaboration that will enhance their operations.

This is a very opportune time to discuss these issues, when many land trusts are seeking to improve management of resources as well as enhance returns and improve their asset base and overall wealth.
